Andermatt Swiss Alps
The Andermatt Swiss Alps Group supports the reforestation project financially through its Andermatt Responsible initiative promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism in the Andermatt region. The Andermatt Swiss Alps Forest will be created over the coming years, with plenty of planting excursions being arranged.

A large part of the reforestation project is located within the municipal area of Hospental. An increase in forest cover in the Ursern Valley is highly appreciated. The protective function of forests is of great importance for the villages in the valley. The municipality therefore also supports the project financially.

Due to its geographical location, the municipality of Realp is particularly affected by natural hazards. The protection forest therefore represents a central lifeline for the village.
